All measurements taken from an original 1980's mini mardave and got as close as possible to the original with the exception of weak parts and the need to make it a little stronger. 19/11/18 All parts uploaded are subject to change if and when tolerance issues are found or far to weak when printed. Some reinforcements may be added in places where required. 21/11/18 Added chassis plate with counter sunk fixings. 23/11/18 Added battery retainer for 4 cell nimh and basic exploded images. Adjusted chassis plate and included one for pan head and one for counter sunk fixings(your choice of which to use) 27/11/18 Increased chassis thickness to 2.5mm. Adjusted battery retainer fixing point. added 2 different wheel dimensions(one for original axle and one for 6mm axle). Adjusted rear axle/bearing hole dimensions to suit mf126zz. adjusted servo saver parts and included top washer to sandwich parts together. Added servo/steering arm joins for use with 3mm fixings. 15/12/18 Prototype built and operational. 20/01/19 WIP Removed. Just give me a message if you see any mistakes. 29/10/19. Combined servo save to a solid part as an option. Notes: Rear bearings MF126ZZ Metal Shielded Deep Groove Flanged Ball Bearing 6x12x4mm. Use rear axle bush and plenty of grease if you dont have these bearings. 6mm dia rear axle, the printed version works but ideally use carbon fiber or steel rod. Steering link arms require 3mm threaded rod roughly 40mm length. Servo saver spring... Torsion type, 12.5 inside diameter, 1.2mm thickness, 2x turn, approx 26mm length. See picture as some fine tweaking is required to set in properly.
