Mini PiMac v1.0 ==================== The Mini PiMac DIY kit turns your Raspberry Pi 2 or 3 model B into a (trans)portable mini all-in-one desktop computer inspired by the iMac line of computers by Apple, particularly the G3 and G4. Based on the OctoPrint Rig by Adafruit, I expanded the idea of a touch-based 3d-printer UI into a standalone computer. I modified the bottom half of the case to remove the big opening, replacing it with either a solid backing, or smaller holes, more reminiscent of the ventilation holes in the G3. In addition, I created a resistive stylus for the PiTFT 3.5" display, as well as a holder for the stylus. The stylus holder can either be printed as a separate piece, or it can be printed as part of the stand. Directions: Print 1 of each of the following items for a complete kit. --------------------- * Mini PiMac - Bottom Case (Holes) **or Mini PiMac - Bottom Case (No Holes)** * Mini PiMac - Top Case * Mini PiMac - Stand (No Stylus Holder) **or Mini PiMac - Stand (With Stylus Holder)** * Mini PiMac - Resistive Stylus ###Optional Print * Mini PiMac - Stylus Holder ###Required Electronic Parts: * https://www.adafruit.com/product/2441 - PiTFT Plus 480x320 3.5" TFT+Touchscreen for Raspberry Pi * Raspberry Pi 2 Model B or Raspberry Pi 3 Model B (I recommend the Pi 3 Model B+) (Disclaimer) This kit is not compatible with the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. However, you are free to remix this as you wish. If you do make a successful case for the Pi 4, please let me know, because I'd love to print one myself!
