I wanted an easy way to make replacement tires for my TZ4. I have been making these tires out of Silicon caulk using the method described here:: http://www.instructables.com/id/Worlds-easiest-silicone-mold/. I tried to use OOgoo and the it did not work well but this method did. If you want to reduce the width of the tire, then just shorten the ring when you print it. This produces an incredibly sticky tire. I am sure that it is not race legal but it deffinitely works. They work great on my laminate floor but might get torn up on a rougher surface like asphalt. these are slicks but a tread pattern would be relatively easy to make as well. Make sure to use some kind of mold release. I used a very thin coat of vaseline and it worked out very well. Print Settings Resolution: .2 Notes: I would try to keep the resolution as low as possible. Demolding should be easier with a smoother surface.
