To build your own little copter you need to get. 1) Carbon fibre tubes 8mm Dia x 300mm long, you will need 4 of them. I use carbon tubes from universal landing skids for a quadcopter see photo attached. 2) Some hardware for joint you need m3x25 + locknut and you will need m3x65+mm for spacers 3)Prototype PCB's 4) Print plastic parts. My setup is: Apm 2.7 micro gps http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__64142__HKPilot_Micro_GPS_and_Compass_Module_U_BLOX_7_8g_.html DYS 1804 2300kv motors http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=66399 AfroESC 30A (you need max for 10A) 5030 props FPV kit APM Power module 2A 3s Battery I include source files feel free to modify it to your needs. Work still in a progress, after flight test i will release final version. Update: Landing skids has been added. First flight test shows very good result. I use huge 4A - 280 gram battery for this little copter, and it flies as crazy, I could see its a bit overloaded but it handle all the weight with no problem at 65% throttle. Instructions Print motor mounts flat side to build plate, use some support if needed. Gps stand print top side down, use some hot glue to fix module in place. Fit carbon rods into blocks, then drill 3mm hole to fit a crews.
