Mini Sidewinder X1 - 1:5 Scale model kit

<p>Here is a fun 1/5 scale Artillery Sidewinder X1 model! Recreated in high detail using Fusion 360 and a Cura printer mesh model as reference.</p> <p>Would make a great Christmas tree ornament :)</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>Artillery Sidewinder X1</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.2mm</p> <p><strong>Filament:</strong></p> Overture PLA <p>Matte Black</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>Most parts can be printed without support and are already oriented in optimal printing orientation.</p> The build plate prints upside-down so the guide dots are printed below the plate to allow easy alignment on top of the printer chassis. <p>The filament spool holder requires support and is printed on its side.</p> <h3>Post-Printing</h3> <p><strong>Assemble per assembly instructions</strong></p> <p>I used Loctite cyanoacrylate super glue for all of the assembly.</p> <p>I did not glue the mini-benchy to the build plate, and I will probably consider affixing a small square of magnetic tape so I can put different "mini prints" on it.</p> </div></p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
