Update: Added V2 files that use 3 plates to better anchor the mount into the foam and a ring that covers the fuse tail to strengthen the foam. Print two V2_Motor_Mount_Vspar and on V2_Motor_Mount_Hspar. To mount just hold mount to tail and use a razor knife to make 3 cuts for the spar plates . A motor mount for the Mini Talon Pro that allows you to switch between various size motors. Mount accommodates 34mm, 42mm, and 44mm mounting patterns for popular sized motors. Mount uses 3mm nuts that are pressed into pockets and held captive. Use appropriate length 3mm screws for your motor bracket. 3mm x10mm seems to work with most. Mount also contains 2.5mm mounting holes and pockets for nuts that attach optional cowling to clean up the tail of the Mini Talon Pro. Vented air from fuselage exits around motor. Cowl ends in a 40mm opening that could mate nicely with a spinner. Cowl length can be altered when printed (scale Z axis only) if your motor is shorter. Designed for a T-Motor 2820. This is still a prototype and has not been flown to date. Please post your experiences if you get your MTP airborne before me.
