Mini Terrain - Modular Platforms

Mini Terrain - Modular Platforms

thingiverse

This is a modular file that contains specs for platforms in widths, depths, and heights in all combinations of of 2", 3", and 4", as well as 2", 3", and 4" stairs that can be used to transition between them. Stairs also come in two widths - one is narrower but does not have railings, and the other has railings, but is wider so 50mm bases can still fit on them. There is a lot of overlap between the layers because they are not meant to be printed all at once. The layers are hopefully clearly named for their contents. __Important__: note that I based the size of the tabs and slots on 3mm MDF, and the tabs are usually .1 to .5mm smaller than that to make it an easy fit, except for things that should not ever come apart once assembled (such as the stairs). __If you use a different thickness MDF, you will need to adjust the width of the slots/tabs to fit accordingly__. The laser cutter I use is an Epilog, and the specs for the cut/marks are: cut: 100 power, 50 speed mark: 100 power, 90 speed (I like really deep, dark lines for the wood pattern).
