Mini Desktop Touchscreen Monitor by Norman Love. This is a mini monitor for the cheap 5 inch touchscreen displays found on Amazon (UK). I wanted to use one for my Pi 4 and 400 but didnt want to spend much money, as well as wanting to use it for doing light coding so it can be used in portrait mode as well as landscape. This cost £40 (£45 if you include the HDMI adapters) as opposed to £65 for the offficial pi touchscreen). As this monitor uses HDMI, this can be used with any HDMI enabled device and not just raspberry pi's Assembly is very easy, just print the front and back parts of the bezel and use a couple of long M2 bolts to screw it together. then print out your choice of base (with two heights) and the back plate simply slots in on any side. The back plate has two cutouts for using flat-angled HDMI and micro usb cables to allow for a tidier appearance, but has enough clearance for regular cables too. The screen can be mounted with the inputs on the top or bottom to suit needs, however the base will not likely fit if cables are on the bottom. I have now included a tall version of the stand with a cable hole in the bottom section that will allow for cables to be routed through. You should not need to use a flat angled adapter for this. Rotating the screen this way in raspbian will not rotate the touch controls and they will be inverted.
