Mini Tripod w/Printable Legs

Mini Tripod is a derivative of Daid's Tiny Tripod, plus I added printable legs. The platform is deeper to accomodate the ABS legs & strong enough to support slightly heavier cameras w/o falling over like my Polaroid Instant. You can SuperGlue the legs if you want more rigidity. It doesn't tilt but it's perfect for setting a small security camera on a window sill, or if you're a digital camera buff you can print a bunch of these to display your collection on your bookshelf. Uhm, anyone up for some Bullet Time®? Here's Daid's Tiny Tripod: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24253 Instructions Mini Tripod was done in 3mm ABS with FAN ON after the first couple layers & printed SLOWLY (30mm/sec) to let the fan cool when doing the 1/4-20 thread screw so it doesn't squish, fall over, or grow tails (on your printer you may be able to print faster). Infill was set to 25%. The legs are square w/rounded posts flat on one side to make them easier to print. All three print at once at normal to high speed. Insert rounded side facing longest surface inside tripod base. Dab with SuperGlue first if you want more rigidity. You only need the STL files to print everything, but I posted the OpenSCAD file from Daid with my numbers plugged-in just in case you want to play with it. If you print a bunch of these for your camera collection, please click MADE ONE! and post a picture, I'd love to see that. Bullet Time® is a registered trademark of Warner Bros.
