Mini Word Clock

thingiverse

A 150mm square faced mini word clock. The clock uses 72 Neopixels (8 rows x 9 pixels per row). The Neopixels are the 60 pixels per metre type. Thus, just over a metre is required. A WIFI connection to an NTP server pool to maintains accurate time, has time zones support for areas that need Daylight Savings Time, settings for single colour colours, or more of a rainbow colour (not animated) and the colours can be set to change on the minute, hour or day. Time can be set for auto dim and bright (day time and night time viewing). Updating the software can be done OTA style (over the air) as long as the ESP8266 is on the same WIFI network as the Arduino IDE. The Arduino sketch is provided (the basis of it was from an Instructable : http://www.instructables.com/id/ESP8266-NTP-TIMEZONE-CLOCK-WITH-WiFi-MANAGER/) Note: all settings for options are in the sketch, there are no external buttons for control.
