Miniature Air Engine (1.5in Tall)

Miniature Air Engine (1.5in Tall)

thingiverse

This will be short because I finished the entire post here and then thingiverse reloaded the page and I lost it all but I will update it when I have more time. The short version: Piston and hole in block for crankshaft need sanded. Lubrication is REQUIRED in order to work on both the piston and crankshaft (vasoline works great). As for the flywheel, it is far to small to work on its own so I hot=glued a popcicle stick onto it with two pennies on each end. Make sure this is balanced if you decide to do it this way. I tested it using my air compressor and it idles at 20psi and has survived prolonged running at 100psi. My compressor does not go any higher than that. Nozzle.stl has not been tested yet I will update as soon as it is done printing. Future updates: - Test nozzle and modify if needed - Finish post - efficiency improvements to the engine - Pictures and Video coming soon Add me on discord to recommend improvements or ask questions: Cyber#3593 (I am not very active on thingiverse) Also sorry for the weird file names I will fix soon.
