You'll need to print 4 of the arms, a base, a "planchette" (or whatever it's actually called), and a ruler. It all fits together and is held onto a notebook by a binder clip.

I got inspired after watching Inheritance Machining's video on Youtube. After seeing how expensive a real drafting setup is I decided I wanted to make a miniature one for the notebooks I typically write in. It works pretty well too. With some adjustments to print settings the ruler part can be super smooth and it holds its angle pretty well.

The “Planchette” part of the assembly has graduations on it in 10 degree intervals for general angle measurements to the rulers. There are definitely some improvements that can be made to make this more usable rather than a desk toy, but for now I like it. I'll probably update it later on, and make it a bit bigger, to make it a proper tool.
