If you ever wanted your very own vintage thrill ride, but didn't quite have enough room at home for one, then maybe this is the answer! This little rollercoaster model was inspired by the vintage scenic railway that has been entertaining guests at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach since 1932. As rollercoaster rides go, it has a very distinctive looking design, which was why I thought it might make for an effective 3D model. They don't make them like that any more! The model doesn't require any supports, rafts or any other such techniques to print. However, as the details are very small, I'd recommend using using a fine resolution and perhaps setting the print speed to be a bit slower than usual. It's probably going to take a long while to print, so maybe you'll need to find yourself a new hobby whilst you're waiting? Of course, I had to take considerable artistic licence with the design. So, yes, there are places where the train apparently needs to pass through solid objects. And, the train isn't going to look anything more than a row of bumps. Additionally, I had no measurements to work with...just a few reference images. So, no, it's most certainly not going to be a true scale model. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it anyway. Finally, yes, there used to be a similar ride to this at Barry Island, too. So, if you're Welsh, it's OK to pretend that I took my inspiration from that one instead. :0)
