# A Simple Miniature Painting Handle Do you have handling issues when painting miniatures? Stop using those hairspray lids, baby food jars, paint stirring sticks, wine corks, beer bottles, gun barrels, or whatever else you've been "improvising" with. I had some issues, and this being quite a pet-peeve of mine, I opened up SCAD and designed this pretty simple model painting handle to hold the miniature without having to handle the model being painted. (Was that enough "handles" in that block?!?!? XD ) This prints in about 2 hours (depending on settings), and doesn't exactly require supports... although if you're a perfectionist, you're probably going to want some supports between the model platform and the handle. Use white tack putty or removable poster putty to fix the model to the handle when working. Sure, it's pretty lo-tech, but it works :) Print, paint, and enjoy this awesome free handle for painting your miniatures. If you love it, let me know.
