SUPER COOL MINI ROBOT HAND! This is a miniature robotic hand made by Open Bionics while exploring the idea of making fully functional items in a single print. You push the base of the hand to make it open and when you release it springs shut. It makes a fantastic business card holder and is also great at grabbing onto things and picking things up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n3yM-Suhuk&feature=youtu.be It prints in a single piece out of NinjaFlex (knuckles down). At Open Bionics we're working hard on making affordable robotic hands. Follow us at @openbionics for more cool stuff. Check out our website www.openbionics.com to see more of our work. Instructions We print using Lulzbot 3D printers (a TAZ 2, a TAZ 4 and an A0-101). The Cura profile we use is included in the source files. These need to be printed really slowly as they have very tall islands with small printbed contact area. From our experience you need to keep the travel slow - around 60mm/s and the print speed around 10mm/s to get these little guys to print! Layer height seems to work best at 0.2mm.
