Miniature Table Football Handle

Miniature Table Football Handle

The handles of my kids miniature table football broke. So I printed this replacement part ... Obviously you can adjust the dimensions for your needs in the .scad file, though I did not bother to make it parametric. Second version has some reinforcement structures that should help stability. Third version has some tiny inner holes that forces the printer to use more material -- even more reinforcement in the critical area. Instructions Using OpenSCAD to draw this. Prints nicely standing, use concentric fills for top/bottom to make it look nicer. My 0.35mm dia nozzle printer does this nicely using 0.15mm layers (with combined infill of 2). I broke two handles meanwhile, at the place where the handle becomes thicker again. I came up with v2 which has some more structure to reinforce the part. Print with enough infill (20% or so) to make it stable enough. (If your slicer allows it, you can go for 25% infill up to the upper bound of the rod hole and then go down to 15%, but that's an optimization neither cura nor slic3r allow to my knowledge ...). I haven't broken any v2 handle yet, but still came up with v3 with even more reinforcement.
