Minimal CM4 IO Board Tray

This tray/caddy will hold the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 IO Board. The design minimizes material, at the expense of leaving some traces & components open on the bottom.

Use 4×M2.5 threaded inserts, such as https://www.mcmaster.com/94180A321/ and 4×M2.5 screws (6mm or 8mm length seem good) to secure the board to the tray.

Note that some HDMI connectors (in particular) may interfere with the lip of the tray. My use case did not require me to use the HDMI ports.

The design file (freecad format) is included. If you remix it to solve the connector problems, please post a remix!

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

200

Infill:

10%

Filament:
Prusament PETG Terra Cotta

Category: Electronics
