Minimal Design extruder (3Dator inspired w/ spring)
thingiverse
I was totally stoked on the guide for filament, but I got really hung up on figuring out the tension needed and usually ended up slipping halfway through my prints. So, I decided to give it another spin. Everything went smoothly with no supports, but that tension bolt might need a bit of dremeling as well as the spring retainer center. The design is pretty straightforward. I used an M6-40mm nut/bolt, but you can use any size if needed. I wanted this thing to be easy to install - just take a look at the top-view pic and you'll get the idea. I printed everything except for "complete.stl." - that's only the Mac up. Updates: None so far
