I aimed for minimal design with maximum functionality when crafting this 2.3 kg filament spool holder. Alongside the printed components, you'll require four skateboard ball bearings and a hollow aluminum rod to assemble it. Every part clicks into place effortlessly, eliminating the need for any adhesives. Now, large spools roll smoothly and quietly on their own! -Update: For added convenience, I integrated a filament guide onto the top bar of a Prusa 3D printer.
