<p>A honeycomb organizer that prints in vase mode. Strong, prints fast, and minimal. Inspired by the hexagonal columnar basalt rock structures found on the black sand beaches of Iceland.</p><h3>Pros:</h3><ul><li><strong>Material saving!</strong> Minimal material usage as only needs 1 perimeter but can hold things great.</li><li><strong>Quick print! </strong>Prints in 2 hrs on a MK3S or Mini</li><li><strong>Useful for Holding! </strong>Fits 3 remote controls or a bunch of pens/pencils</li><li><strong>Useful for Calibration! &nbsp;</strong>Quickly identify extrusion issues in vase mode. Use calipers to measure wall thickness after print to properly adjust flow rate!</li></ul><h3>Cons:</h3><ul><li><strong>Thin walls.</strong> Single walls are print fast, but you might want to print it with a wider nozzle to get more strength. That being said, <strong>hexagons are quite strong</strong> for their shape and holding size-- that's why bees use them in their hives!&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Recommended settings:</h3><ul><li>Single perimeter, larger nozzle if possible (0.6 ideally, but 0.4 works as shown)</li><li>Align Seam to back</li><li>Orient the part with the bottom of the holder at the bottom (should be oriented correctly already)</li><li>Scale to your personal preferences-- each hexagon is roughly 65mm in diameter. Can fit a 24mm by 60mm block in cross section, but do your own trigonometry just in case!</li></ul>
