Original Post: As I assembled my Filament Dry Box, I encountered several unnecessary options for the filament guide out of the box, which appeared overly complicated and time-consuming to install. I decided to design a simpler solution that required only an insert and a lock ring to screw on. The bare minimum needed is the lockring and the insert to print a working model. Simply drill a 10mm hole and tighten the lockring around the insert; it's complete. The hole on the insert can accommodate a 4mm OD PTFE tube to minimize friction, but this is optional. The cap is also an optional feature, which might be useful for closing up the box and making it airtight. Note that the cap is designed to be longer, allowing some filament to remain inside to facilitate easy removal when needed.
