<h1>MINIMALIST TEE KEY BELT CLIP</h1> ## by <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/dar01/designs">DAR01</a>.</p> This is a minimalist belt holder for a BR Carriage key (Tee key) - see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4934028 The holder accepts a standard BR "Tee key" (carriage key) through the hole and is designed to clip over a belt to be used instead of the leather holders that the belt loops through. It is quite comfortable to wear, but as it hooks over a belt isn't quite as secure as a leather type, but is easier to remove and store. I have tested this on a 3.5mm and 4mm thick belt. It will work on thicker belts, but may not be as secure on anything thinner than 3mm. *** ***UPDATE***: The Mark 1 version can split on the key loop when you are crouching down etc. dependent on your build. It is fine 99.9% of the time, but to overcome this, I have designed a composite material Version 2 of the Tee Key belt holder that uses a PLA/PETG/ABS belt hook and a TPU insert for the loop (the bit that needs to flex). * <b>v2 Belt hook for insert.stl</b> - Print in stronger material such as PLA, PETG or ABS. * <b>v2 T_Key holder insert.stl</b> - Print in TPU The insert slides into the Belt hook from the top. A tiny drop of glue can be used if you wish. TPU is traditionally difficult to print, but I had no massive issues with this. It doesn't look perfect (it was my first ever TPU print), but works fine. <i>Don't try to print the Version 1 full hook and holder in TPU as the hook is far too flexible and will not clip on a belt properly.</i> *** <h2>Designers comments on use of this Thingiverse design and others</h2> Feedback/comments, <i>Likes</i> and <i>Collects</i> are all gratefully received, as well as users posting their <i>Makes</i>.
