I had a brilliant idea - I wanted to create a unique feature where you could spin the lamp shade without having to turn the entire lamp. To achieve this, I designed a specialized spacer that fits snugly between the top and bottom components of the lamp. To assemble the lamp with this innovative design, firmly press down on the completed lamp while the spacer is in place, then gently sand the upper edge of the shade until it rotates smoothly. With just a touch of hot melt glue, the lamp is now securely assembled, but with one crucial difference - the shade can be easily spun without having to adjust the entire lamp.
