This is a set of spacers to enable Minishell (or any other shortshell) reloaging on a Lee Load All reloading press. DISCLAIMER: Ammo reloading is inherently a risky activity. Failure to adhere to safety procedures and/or reliable reloading manuals may result in property damage, injury or even death. Proceed at your own risk! I have no control over your actions, and I am not responsible for any result of your use of these models - including damage to you, your shotgun, your shells or the Load All. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK! How to reload minishells on a Load-All: - Stages 1+2 (de- and re-priming) work with shorter shells without any modifications. - Stages 3+4 (drop and pre-crimp) require a spacer beneath the shell (lee_minispacer). Print using ABS for better impact resistance; acetone smoothing improves adhesion and finish. I added small magnets to hold on to the shell, this is optional. - Stage 5 (final crimp) requires a spacer inside the crimp tube (lee_minicrimp). Print using PLA for better stiffness, preferably in lighter colors for better visibility. Adjust tolerance for snug fit. Polish with 1000 then 5000 grit sandpaper for smoother finish and operation. IMPORTANT: DESIGN EXTRACTOR TOOL before seating minicrimp!!! I used the following: - Take a 6mm diameter, 6-8 cm long aluminum rod; - Drill a 2.5mm hole across the rod ~2-3 mm from one of the ends; - Tap M3 thread inside the drilled hole - Place ~7-8mm long M3 threaded rod through the hole ( cut from a suitable machine screw); use some Loctite to fix in place. - Mount some kind of handle on the other end; I used a mini lathe to reduce diameter to 5.3mm, threaded M5 male thread, placed an M5 wing nut. In emergency (lost extractor, too snug fit etc.), minicrimp can be extracted using a 7-8 mm drill bit on slow speed. Allow the bit to catch on the minicrimp, and as it begins to rotate inside the tube, slowly pull out; take care not to drill all the way through the minicrimp. (If done carefully, the part can even be reused after this - the one in the picture was a tag too large initially and had to be extracted that way, and is still fully usable.)
