The Miniwhip Antenna: A Low-Frequency Powerhouse The miniwhip antenna is a high-performance 0-30Mhz active receiving antenna that can be effortlessly mounted in a sturdy 3/4" PVC pipe. This compact piece fits snugly around the pipe, allowing for seamless attachment to a telescoping fiberglass mast. As it slides down the top about 1.5 feet, it assumes its optimal position, deftly avoiding unwanted bending and warping.
