This flexible adapter grommet/bushing, printed with TPU, allows fitting of an 82mm threaded metal lens shade to the Minolta AF 28-135mm F/4-4.5 Zoom lens. The adapter snaps on to the metal lens hood, then friction fits over the end-bell of the lens. It doesn't interfere with UV/ND filter mounting and pinch type lens caps can be used without any problems as well. The adapter is designed to interface with a Fotga brand 82mm threaded metal lens hood, available from several sellers on Ebay. As you can see from the warm red glow cast by the grommet on the inside of the hood, it would be best to choose a dark, neutral color for your print material, rather than bright red like I was stuck with... thank you black Sharpie, for saving my hood adapter from being fatally flawed! :D
