*** DISCLAIMER: This worked for the specific problem on my camera, and has not been tested extensively enough to say it will work for others. Try it at your own risk. **** One of my Minolta cameras, an SRT-201, had this weird problem where the advance lever would get jammed when using the camera in the normal orientation, but not when the film was advanced with the camera upside down. I found the take-up spool had ~1.3mm play on it, and when it dropped -due to gravity- it would move a cam (marked "A") against one of the levers at the bottom of the camera (marked "B") and get jammed. Furthermore, another lever (marked "C") would get below that cam, and prevent it from moving up and free the advance lever. I made this little washer that fits around the take up spool shaft and reduces the end-play just enough to prevent the jam. It should fit around the shaft with a little bit of pressure. Printed in PLA+, but any material should work.
