This model is a filter thread designed for the MiNT TL70 to enable the use of any 37mm or 58mm filter on the camera. The design mounts directly to the bayonet present on the camera, allowing you to twist it on and off whenever needed. **The 3D-printed STL is just one of the two parts necessary.** It also requires a 34-37mm step-up ring to be installed (permanently, preferably) for the small versions, and a 55-58mm for the larger one -- this gives you a metal filter thread, so you don't have to mess with the 3D-printed plastic part all the time. There are four versions available: - **Single-lens 37mm** (mk1.x): this is the simplest design, giving a small 37mm filter thread over the main lens. It clears the light meter, so readings will be unaffected, similar to MiNT's own filter pack. _This needs one 34-37mm step-up ring._ - **Large single-lens 58mm** (mk2.x): this design accommodates a larger filter thread, covering both the main lens and the light meter -- this might be useful for automatically adjusting the exposure to the filters, but it will also eat into the viewfinder. _This needs one 55-58mm step-up ring._ - **Double-lens 2x37mm** (mk3.x): this one allows a separate lens attachment for both the viewing and taking lens. Useful for previewing filter effects in the top lens, and especially for macro photography with two identical sets of close-up lenses. (MiNT's own variant is +3.3 diopter, but a standard +1-+2-+4 set should work fine.) _This needs two 34-37mm step-up rings._ - **Lens cap** (mk4.x): this design allows taking darkroom shots in broad daylight, doubling as an ND∞, and protects both lenses from any harmful or less harmful light. Not recommended to leave it on for shooting. _This needs no step-up rings._ This design is recommended to be printed out of ABS or PETG, while it contains no flexible parts, strength is highly desirable for this use case. PLA can be used if necessary, but it is more likely to break off the bayonet lugs. **Additionally, a layer thickness of at most 0.1mm is necessary for the friction fit.** Special thanks to [PhotoHop](https://www.instagram.com/_photohop/) for the measurements, for the photography, and for printing out all my mistakes.
