Mintypi Lite Print-In-Place Tactile Buttons

Mintypi Lite Print-In-Place Tactile Buttons

Based off of the mintypi lite by wermy. I messaged him multiple times via 3 different channels trying to get a solid file so that I could design a print-in-place faceplate that used tactile buttons instead of the awful mushy contact buttons. He never responded, and so I used tinkercad to modify the .stl files. With the release of the mintypi 3.5, tactile buttons are now standard, and so I'm uploading my design that put tactile buttons into the mintypi lite 2 months ago. Print the faceplate face down and the buttons separately, then glue the buttons on. The holes should be the size of filament, so you can use pieces of filament as dowels to line up the buttons. Then solder the tactile buttons of your choice onto the board. I used ones found in this set: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LCBLB8N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And you're good to go. A mintypi lite with tactile switches so that you don't have to re-purchase a mintypi 3.5 My prints work, but they don't look great, but I'm sure someone with more 3d printing experience can set it up better than I did.
