Miranda lens bayonet adapter for M43, Micro four thirds, and rear lens cap

cults3d

A 3D print for mounting the original Miranda lenses to M4/3rds. + a lens cap for the rear of those lenses. The design allows for focusing a little past infinity to make focus peaking easier. Another version is included with a longer barrel so the lenses will typically focus down to 2 or 3 inches. The rear lens cap comes in a couple of versions, if printed face down (which gives a better bayonet flange), there is a flat logo piece to glue to the flat outside face. The macro version also has a 44mm thread to accept the even older screw thread Miranda lenses.. though depending on your printer, this may not print very well. Aside, nearly all the Miranda bayonet lenses I've acquired have quite poor locking tabs, usually the springs are too weak. However the 3D adapter tend to print a little wider than the original camera mount and effectively becomes a friction lock and is less likely to detach (at least, those from my printer!) [[ Miranda bayonet lenses were made by Soligor and (other than the locking tab!) are mechanically superior to the later Dixons/Cosina lenses, aperture options are a little limited, but they are really nice all metal vintage lenses that can be given new life via 3D printing! ]]
