Mission Santa Clara De Asis

Mission Santa Clara De Asis

My son was assigned to build a California Mission for his 3rd grade history class. I thought it'd be a good excuse to flex my 3D modelling design & printing skills. This mission is not to scale. Its more of a representation. Hopefully this design may help any student assigned to build this mission. Things to consider before printing: This comes together like that of a plastic model kit. So you'll need a couple of tubes of CA glue. When gluing, clamping of parts are necessary. I used clothes pin hangers, binder clips, and paperclips as clamping tools. For gluing walls together at right angles, I designed an "L" bracket for bracing of the joints. Print as many of those as needed. Refer to the pictures, and assembly model when putting this model together. To pay it forward, PLEASE post your makes. Also PLEASE post any remixes that may improve this design to benefit anyone needing to build this mission for school. Thank you!
