Mistral-A Anet E10 Filament Cooling Duct

Mistral-A Anet E10 Filament Cooling Duct

thingiverse

I originally designed the filament cooling duct for my Ender-3 Pro. I was asked to make a version for the Anet E10 printer. Mistral-A design objectives: Use with original fan that comes with the printer. Blow high volume air on the filament just beyond the nozzle. Avoid getting any cooling air on the heater block. Designed to get the hot air away from the object as fast as possible. Create a version that is compact and will not interfere with auto level sensors. Reduce the noise level of the fan as much as possible. Make it as light as possible to avoid high mass on the extruder. Attention: This cooling duct is intended for use with the standard unmodified Anet E10 printer. It is recommended that the cooler be printed in ABS only as this filament is more heat resistant. Tip: Use a 2.0mm drill to clean up the screw hole(s) for mounting. Download the files only if you are going to start in printing the parts because I might have done some required design tweaks/changes which will be noted below as revisions. It would be nice to post a picture with comments if you have made one. The duct comes in two flavors: 1 or 2 mounting tabs. Don't forget to remove the support! Let me know if changes need to be made as I don't have an Anet E10 to work with. Thanks.
