This can be printed to replace the weak plastic piece that keeps the face of your dial caliper in place when you zero it out. It was created completely out of necessity since I broke mine. It's a pretty straight forward and quick print. Set it so that the hole prints vertically to allow the thumb-screw to pass through cleanly, this also allows for tighter dimensional tolerance in the vertical direction. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 50% Notes: I printed with a higher infill in the hope of more strength since the original one broke so easily. It's completely up to the user to make it whatever infill they want. I also printed with a 15 line brim for improved bed adhesion on the ultimaker 2
