MJAPMM - just another "Perpetual Motion Machine"

People have been trying to develop an efficient perpetual motion machine since before Leonardo DaVinci. The idea is to create a mechanical system that once initiated its motion will continue without outside influences indefinitely.I developed this project when I had some free time waiting for a client to make a decision - it took him more than 3 weeks! The princiipal of this system came to me while thinking about the fact that a relatively stable (though not really perpetual) PMM already exists in nature in the form of planetary orbits like those in our solar system. It was in particular the two-body problem in astrophysics that gave me the inspiration. Although my system does not exactly represent the two-body problem, it does borrow some of the important elements such as the effects of angular velocity, distance vs. gravitational influence (magnetic attraction/repulsion in this case), and momentum/inertia. I am presently working on a paper which explains the system in more detail and especially how I have devised (theoretically) to overcome the "brake" effect when the rotating magnet comes in line with the fixed magnet. I had also written years ago a program in C++ to study the two-body problem which I am thinking of modifying to study the behavior of this system - but I am not as young as I used to be. P.S. the 3d model here was created for prototyping/experimentation purposes and does not represent some aspects of what the final system will contain.
