This is actualy (01/2016) the best hobbed gear for driving 3D printer filament. The grip of the MK7 is even better than on the last MK8 which is a fail. The model is designed for 1.75mm filament which is actual standard. Anyway, the model is parametric, you can change variables in the Solidworks document to make a 2.85mm or any size you like hobbed gear.
