MKII 5W Wind Turbine Improved Crank

<p>The MkII Wind Turbine from 3dprintable1 is an excellent model but have taken to upgrade some of the components.</p> <p>The original plans files are found at: <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2060281">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2060281</a></p> <p>The first change is the crank arm which holds the turbine blades on.</p> <p>Improvements are:</p> <ul> <li>creation of a hexagonal recess to allow capture of an M5 bolt head to prevent rotation (without gluing)</li> <li>increase in shaft width to mate better with the bearing's interior surfaces.</li> </ul> <p>---Version 3---<br/> Made the 'tube' wider on the outside and tighter on the screw width.</p> <p>Changed the hex head size to be tighter.</p> <p>All changes are incremental in nature.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Printing in PLA at either .15mm or .2mm appears to work.</p>
