MKS 1.4 Electronics Box
thingiverse
Electronics box for MKS v1.4 mainboard and 12864 LCD. The back plate has mounting holes for a 40x10mm cooling fan, which I designed around a spare Noctua fan I had on hand. All pieces are held together with M3 self-tapping screws purchased from Amazon. To test my printer settings, I included a section of the triangle pattern that prints with minimal problems. The ANET A8 wire length was carefully designed to accommodate the main board being mounted halfway up the frame, allowing for full Z travel by extending most of the wires from the extruder assembly. For extra support, I printed and used an LCD spacer from mightynozzle to keep the two LCD boards in place; however, this may not be entirely necessary.
