MKS TFT3.5-FW Slanted Mount

This is a basic slanted mount for the new TFT 3.5 LCD touch screen from MKS where the USB and SD plugs are accessed from the front. It is designed to attach to 2020 extrusions. Quick search in Thingiverse and else only brought back mounts for the standard version where the USB and SD are accessed on the side. I got mine from AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32990130029.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.18.3d0f1c7ag2x8vC STL files provided are: - MKS TFT3.5-FW mockup - MKS TFT3.5-FW slanted mount - Front part of the mount - Base part of the mount The mount is designed to attach on the lower left corner. Using the Front and Base STLs, you should be able to get the orientation you need, either by printing and then gluing the 2 parts, or positioning the parts together in your slicer for a joint one piece print. TFT is attached to the mount using 4x M3x6 screws screwed on from the back. M5 and T-nuts are used to fix the mount to 2020 extrusions. The prototype was printed in 2 pieces using the Front STL to test for fit. The SD slot was widen with a file, then the Base was printed without the need for support. The Front part showed that a couple of tweaks were required, mainly the SD slot being widen. The STLs attached have these small modifications: - More width for the SD reader. - Slightly thicker spacers to attach the TFT to the mount with M3x6 screws without the need for a washer. The small vertical PCB where the SD and USB sockets are extends almost 30mm down, forcing us to have a deep well for this mount. Let me know if you run into problems with the mount.
