MLOK Safety Flag Rewinder Mount

<p>I designed a mount for a <a href="https://www.amazon.de/KEY-BAK-Sidekick-Abzeichen-einziehbar/dp/B09N72RDPY">KEY-BAK Sidekick</a> as a safety flag rewinder useful for some shooting competitions that require safety flags. The carabiner part of the KEY-BAK is superfluous and has to be cut off.</p><p> </p><p>Additional Hardware Required:</p><ul><li>strong two-part epoxy</li><li>A saw/dremel and a file/sand paper to remove the carabiner</li><li><a href="https://www.amazon.com/KEY-BAK-Sidekick-Retractable-Polycarbonate-Carabiner/dp/B00TS3UT42">KEY-BAK Sidekick</a></li><li><a href="https://magpul.com/m-lok-t-nut-replacement-set.html?mp_global_color=118">MLOK Nut</a></li></ul><p> </p><p>Three different versions are available:</p><ul><li><strong>Version A</strong><br>This is the lowest profile variant. It requires only the MLOK interface, which is then permanently attached to the KEY-BAK using a strong adhesive.<br> </li><li><strong>Version B</strong><br>This Version consists of two parts; the housing itself and the MLOK interface. These two components need to be glued together (make sure the MLOK interface sits flush in the cutout). The KEY-BAK then fits snuggly inside the housing (you can add glue here aswell, but it is not necessary in my opinion).<br> </li><li><strong>Version C</strong><br>For this Version, you only need to print the housing which has the MLOK interface already modeled into it. The KEY-BAK then fits snuggly inside the housing. This is the simplest version since it does not require the use of glue at all, but i suspect it to be the least durable because of print orientation and possible shear forces along layers. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Reccommended Print Settings:</p><ul><li>Heat Resistent Filament</li><li>100% Infill</li><li>5+ Perimeters</li><li>0.15mm Layer Height</li><li>Print Orientation and Supports as shown</li></ul><p> </p><p>If you need anything, feel free to reach out!
