This is a remake of Butch Napier's model. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/threaded-mega-mini-w-pvc-adapter Redesigned to need no supports, especially for those if us who can't or choose not to use Cura's "make supports printable" option. Also the bulb has been modified to fit in the Prusa build envelope. There will be several varieties as the need arises. Currently I have the base that fits 3/4 pvc with 2 holes for pg7 cable glands. The inside is designed so you don't need a socket to hold the nut when installing the gland. A version with 3/4 pvc with the slots to accommodate the flat pixel wires with weep holes to allow any water to escape. Also I have a version which only has one pg7 cable gland hole in the center to facilitate hanging with a "T" which will be available shortly from Todd at www.Wizardofwire.com . The caps currently only have the 9 pixel version and one with a .875 hole for a pixel puck. I am assuming there will be a need for more options in the future. Let me know what you need and I will add that to the listing. The main differences between this design and the original are the threads. This version uses a round profile which prints much cleaner even with a .8 nozzle. I also added some text on the inside to make this model harder to pirate. This will not effect the outer print quality if your settings are correct. Make sure to look over your preview before actually printing. If you need help, let me know as I have printed these in both Simplify3d and Prusa slicers. The base needs 0 infill The cap, I use 15% infill The bulb is solid, so it will work with whatever outer layer you choose. I suggest making the bottom and top with 0 layers and use vase or spiral mode if you have the .8 nozzle. If you are using the .4 nozzle, perhaps you will want to just use 2 perimeters.
