Mobius Action Camera 3-Axis Gimbal for STorM32 BGC. Update 4/3/2015 ============= Added three new files for use with M3 hardware and 16 x 16 spacing for use with RCTimer GBM2804 motors. Yaw Arm 16x16 -Roll Arm 16x16 -Mobius Platform 16x16 Original Revision ============= The Mobius Platform used in this design is borrowed from the Mobius Mount found here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:346602/#files. It's been heavily redesigned to be more friendly to my printer and to be integrated better into my gimbal design. I also found the pitch center on the platform was too far to the rear. All other components of the design are original. I plan on redesigning the main gimbal frame to hang in the front of the MRC vs underneath (see Thing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:666219)and to mount the BGC directly above the yaw motor and to have the anti-vibe bobbins support the gimbal via compression rather than in tension as they support it now. I am still working through fine tuning of the BGC. Initial flights have shown very good performance once the gimbal is balanced and the BGC ACC's are properly calibrated at the flying temperature. I will link to some flight video soon. The Gimbal Top Plate file has been custom designed to fit underneath the front of an HJ 500 Alien quadcopter with slight modifications. Instructions Printed parts at 50% infill with ABS at .2mm layer height. I used a few safety lanyards to VERY loosely restrain the gimbal frame to the MRC frame in the event that the vibration dampeners come loose.
