Mobius Dash Camera Mount

Mobius Dash Camera Mount

This is a bracket to mount the Mobius Actioncam to the stalk of a typical rear view mirror. It uses a suspension clamp to clamp around the stalk. It'll work for different sized stalks by changing out the clamp to a different size. I recommend using a rubber coated clamp or putting rubber inside to keep it from moving around. It's not the most ridged mount since only 1 bolt holds it (the bolt allows angle adjustment). Anything with a 1/4" or M6 bolt should be able to mount to the end of the bracket. I used a 5/8" rubber insulated clamp from harbor freight to fit it on a 1988 Chevy C1500 pickup and A 1995 Ford ranger as well. Note: For anyone who wants to do this, you much change the lithium battery in the camera out for the capacitor instead. The heat in the sun may cause the battery to fail, swell, or in worst case, catch fire. The capacitor works well but you have to reprogram the camera to turn on and off with power. To control the camera, use either a switched cigarette lighter, power from the radio unit, and a 5V regulator off a switched fuse.
