This is my version of a gimbal for mobius camera Since I crashed my mobius hard, the only parts that survived were the top cover and the camera, i decided to print the bottom half of the camera so it attaches directly to the pitch motor and holds the gyro It took me a couple of prints to get the pitch center of gravity right The battery is replaced with a cell phone one and i plan to mount it on the quadcopter frame The base is designed to fit a 50x30mm pcb The roll has a 20 degree angle so I can reduce the size of the gimbal, but i don't think it will be a problem in flight since the quadcopter is always tilted forward Note that this gimbal will need very flexible silicon wires for the sensor or it will have difficulty rotating The motors are "Multistar 1807-340Kv Brushless Gimbal Motor for Mobius Camera" from Hobbyking The controller is HMBGC v1.1 Still some work to do, but please let me know what you think ;) 25 Jan 2016 Update - Base redesigned for 45 degree dampers - Added a quadcopter mount plate Here is a video of the first version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCjnZdLkimU The gimbal works but it oscillates because the props are not balanced and the quad is REALLY heavy and unable to take off more than 10cm :( 4 Feb 2016 Update -New mount with 6 dampers Made a few more tests and videos This is the 4x 45 degree dampers test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kqrfs733eTU I also tried 6 dampers trying to get rid of that shaking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tslRU9YTn6k a bit better, but keep in mind i have not balanced my propellers Shaking apart, stabilization seems to be good :) 18-March 2016 Update Finally I bought a new lipo for my mobius, I got the extended version 820mAh nonetheless :) I hope that the added weight (the battery) in the mobius case gives the extra stabilization needed to completely eliminate the already low shaking. -Added a new half case V2 to accomodate the battery. -Added a modified roll arm V2 to balance the new weight.
