Mod Prusa Mini/Mini+ Z axis extension

<p>Hi Everybody,</p><p>Let me introduce the improvement for my printers farm!</p><p>I used to print my projects with Mk3s printers, as they are usually 200mm high… I didn't like that limitation and I preffered the design and price of Mini …so I decided to take it in my hands and modify Mini to meet my requirements of Z axis range (20mm extension was satisfying for me). Therefore I created parts which allowed me to extend the range without any serious modification and high cost.</p><p>Now I decided to share it with you, maybe somebody can utilize it for himself.</p><p>What is needed to extend your Z axis and enjoy the print volume of 180x180x200:</p><ul><li>1x bottom distance</li><li>1x top distance</li><li>2x cylinder d9, length 20mm</li><li>2x M5x35 or M5x40 screws with diameter of head not bigger than 10mm</li><li>2x M3x25 screws (hexagon socket)</li><li>1x M3x18 screw (hexagon socket)</li><li>modified firmware (you can use the file prepared by me - based on v4.3.3)</li></ul><p>Screws are needed to replace standard screws, used during assembly of the printer.</p><p>Printed parts, I suggest to produce them out of PETG material to conform with the one used for another printed parts in your printer. Parts are being used to move the complete Z+X axes 20mm towards Z+ direction. You should use the top distance to place it between Z motor holder and alu profile and use the bottom distance to stabilize rods and screw on the bottom (please check real pictures).
