This is a “walk-cycle” of an adult Tokay Gecko (Gekko gecko) walking up a simulated glass surface. The 3D model was created by scanning a live tokay gecko using the Beastcam ARRAY in Duncan Irschick’s laboratory at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and then adding in rigging and other 3D data, which was performed by Johnson Martin. The movements of the limbs accurately reflects the way that this gecko, and other adult geckos climb walls. Please note that this model is copyrighted.
