Model Airplane Rib Jig

Model Airplane Rib Jig

thingiverse

Model airplane building rib jig that I came up with. Meant to hold the ribs upright and at a 90 degree angle to the build surface while setting up the wing. It could also be used to hold bulkheads upright for the fuselage. Two files: The first is a single jig, with 2mm gap. The second is for a full build tray full, in three sizes. 20 each with 2mm, 1.5mm and 1mm gaps for different thickness ribs. The set of 60 took multiple days to print, just as a warning, but when it was done I had plenty. Designed in Onshape. Large size is the original. Medium is scaled to 82% of the original. Small is scaled to 66% of the original.
