<p>Holders for my star wars models consisting of a peg, a pin and a base.</p><h3>Parts</h3><h4>Peg and Pin</h4><p>The peg is a small, hollow cylider to hold the pin. It is added to the model as part of the print. (It will be fused to the model)</p><p>The pin connects the model to the base. You dont need a pin and you can stack multiple pins to get your desired height.</p><p>There are three versions for the peg and pin.</p><h5>Small</h5><p>This is for regular models. Anything that is not much bigger then a starfighter and has something in the middle for the peg to connect to. These models are:</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/54587-star-wars-u-wing-print-in-place">U-Wing</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/55345-star-wars-xg-1-star-wing">XG1-Star Wing</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/55615-star-wars-rebels-phantom-i">Phantom I</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/61678-star-wars-tie-defender-canonlegends-versions">TIE Defender</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/64007-star-wars-tie-advanced-v1">TIE Advanced V1</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/65862-star-wars-tye-wing">TYE Wing</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/75234-star-wars-x-wing">T65 X-Wing</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/75325-star-wars-a-wing">RZ1 A-Wing</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/75326-star-wars-y-wing">BTL A4 Y-Wing</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/80058-star-wars-tie-fighter">TIE/LN Fighter</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/85311-star-wars-z95-headhunter">Z95 Headhunter</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/94472-star-wars-star-commuter-shuttle">Star Commuter Shuttle</a></li></ul><h5>Slanted</h5><p>This is for models where the peg is set towards the back. The first pin is slanted to correct for this offset. This can happen if there is a gap in the middle where there is nothing for the peg to connect to.</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/61450-star-wars-tie-striker">TIE Striker</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/63479-star-wars-v19-torrent-starfighter">V19 Torrent</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/75157-star-wars-b-wing">A/SF-01 B-Wing</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/80056-star-wars-tie-interceptor">TIE/IN Interceptor</a></li></ul><h5>Big</h5><p>This is for bigger models.</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/54947-star-wars-lambda-shuttle">Lambda Shuttle</a></li><li><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/68920-star-wars-mandalorian-shuttleM">Mandalorian Shuttle</a></li></ul><h4>Base</h4><p>There are three versions for the base.</p><h5>Small</h5><p>This is compatible with the small and slanted pins.</p><h5>Medium</h5><p>Compatible with small and slanted pins, just like the small base. I recommend using it when the small base does not provide enough stability. This can be the case when using lots of pins or with the U-Wing and Star Commuter shuttle.</p><h5>Big</h5><p>Compatible with the big pin.</p><h3>Print instructions</h3><h4>Peg</h4><p>The peg is printed as a part of the model. In PrusaSlicer, you can add it to the main model via right-click → add part → load. The peg should appear at the correct location. You might have to paint some support-blockers inside it.</p><h4>Pin</h4><p>I use PLA at 0.2mm layer height for the bases, but you can use pretty much any material and setting for them.</p><h4>Base</h4><p>For the pins, you can use PLA, but I would recommend PETG because its slightly more flexible and durable. Use a raft and supports on buildplate only.</p>
