Just one of the Hawaiian Islands (well the biggest one). Who creates models of the other ones??? I printed the model with 0,2mm layers end 30mm/sec speed. As you might expect it takes an awful long time (many hours) Instructions This model was made with a USGS Digitale Elevation Model, resampled from 10m to 100m resolution, with Global Mapper. I cut off the rectangular base with Meshmixer and subsequently repaired the model with Netfabb Basic. You probably have to drop the model onto your virtual build plate in order to level it properly.
