Model Rocket Launch Pad

As one other member mentioned, there is a surprisingly few number of model rocket launch pads on here. This was made for my nephews Christmas gift, the launch controller will be soon to follow. The pad is modular, so it has a wide base, but comes apart for easy storage and transport. Using a 8" (200mm) cubed print volume, just be aware both the legs and core take up most of the usable print bed area. Center hole is a 1/8" for standard size rods, I'll look into releasing the 3/16" size for the maxi rods if anybody asks. The hole I printed was a hair tight, but when I went to drill it out with 1/8" bit, it was bigger than the bit. Used a 9/64" bit and shaved off just a bit, but the rod fit nicely then. You MUST use a metal blast plate!!! Most plastics used in FFF printing can't handle direct exposure to motor exhaust. Instructions Print the Launchpad Core and Leg Fixed files. You will have to print the Leg 3 times. The NO PRINT stl is obviously not for printing! It's just the display model. I had to use support and 20% infill for strength.
