Model Rocket Rigid Parachute Recovery

Model Rocket Rigid Parachute Recovery

thingiverse

This is a prototype for my Senior Project. While I took the final design differently, this rocket should function. Essentially, print it like any other model rocket. Use a B or C-class engine with an ejection charge. Once the ejection charge goes off, the inner tube is ejected out of the nosecone and the parasail (thin circle of plastic) will generate drag, slowing the rocket down. To create the parasail, use the included parachute frames as a radius and cut it out of thin plastic.
